Synopsis

Héron wants nothing more than to be seen for her hard work and honed skills, often tiring herself to exhaustion in the extra training she imposes on herself. She needs to be at the top of her game, or - to her - all her efforts will have been in vain. Just a few days before a big showing in Paris, though, Héron’s long-time dance partner is replaced all of a sudden: Héron is faced with a new dancer by her side – Celeste. Celeste is the exact opposite of Héron: reckless, free-spirited and not at all disciplined. — As the two rehearse for the showing, their opposed styles grate at each other, forcing Héron to doubt all that she has worked for: Should the word of her choreographer really be law? Can she live up to all the expectations others have set on her? Could there have been another path for her? In the struggle between passion and professionalism, Héron is faced with a decision: Will she buckle down and just deal with this new situation? Or will she change her ways and maybe even start to rebel a little?
